Visa

A travel visa is a travel document which conditionally allows a person to enter or leave the region for which it is issued. A visa application in advance of arrival gives the country a chance to consider the applicant’s circumstance, such as financial security, reason for applying, and details of previous visits to the country. A visitor may also be required to undergo and pass security and/or health checks upon arrival at the border.

It depends. An Irish citizen will get benefit from many favorable travel arrangements with countries around the world. Irish passport holders can travel all EU countries without any restrictions. For several countries, you will need a valid travel visa in order to enter.

By submitting basic documents like: • Valid passport • Completed visa application • Passport/Visa size photos • Payment of required fees • In some cases, additional identification such as a driver’s license, birth certificate, or bank statement showing that you the necessary funds to complete your journey • Some countries require a copy of your travel ticket.

Holidays

It is a product which takes care of your Flights, Hotels, Sightseeing, Travel Insurance, Transfers and Visa’s if required into one price. However it’s not necessary every Holiday package includes all above services, it completely depends upon the inclusion and exclusion of the package you are planning to book.

These are tours which have fixed departure dates and Tour escorts.

It is always advisable to book your tour well in advance of your choice to confirm your hotel and Flight reservations.

“Two people in one room”

This means, the rates are for one person in a room which is shared by two.

A half-board meal plan is inclusive of breakfast and one major meal – either lunch or dinner.

A Full-board meal plan is inclusive of all 3 meals i.e. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Shamrock holidays will provide you assistance for filling your visa however to grant you Visa is completely at the discretion of the Embassy.

Yes, you can amend the package the way you want it wherever possible by contacting us and  by paying additional cost or amendment charge if any.

Yes, we can help you buying Travel Insurance, you just need to contact customer care team.

No, unfortunately we don’t have this provision to book with multiple credit cards online.

Generally most of the hotels allow guest to book 3 adults in one room by giving an extra bed, however we request you to always reconfirm with our customer care before booking.

Yes, you need passport with minimum validity of 6 months from the date of travel. Validity of passport may vary depending upon the country you visit. Also we can assist you in getting your Visa’s done. You just need to visit our visa section and fill in the inquiry form and we will take care of the rest.

The type of vehicle provided during travel would be mentioned in the travel details before you book your holidays. Vehicle type purely depends upon the group size and destinations.

Cancellation charges of the holiday package you are selecting would be mentioned in travel details. Also cancellation charges depend when you are cancelling the package and for which country/city you have booked for. To know more you can call our customer care team.

If in case you want to cancel your services on tour, there won’t be any refund credited to your account.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is a cover for the risks you might face in your entire trip, overseas or domestic. Typically, it covers death, personal accident, medical expenses, repatriation, loss/ delay of checked baggage, passport loss and third party liability.

Generally travelers travel for Business or holidays. When on tour you do not want anything to ruin your holiday or business trip, but there are certain possibilities of unexpected occurrence like medical emergence, baggage loss, natural disaster, accident or passport loss can leave you stranded in unknown foreign land. Having Travel Insurance protects you from all such peril.

Yes of course, we will assist you to take  proper travel insurance.

A standard travel policy covers death, medical expenses, personal accident, passport loss, loss/ delay of checked baggage, repatriation and third party liability.

The cost of travel insurance depends on a number of factors – your age, the duration of your trip, the country you plan to visit and the benefits included in the plan.

The premium is generally charged on a slab basis. There are predefined slabs from which you need to select which one you fall into.
